Holiday Edition – Part I

Hey Stylish ladies (and gents)! I’ve missed you guys and am excited to bring you some new content! 🙂 I’m still getting back to normal after spending some much needed time with my friends in some of the beautiful islands of Hawaii.  Blog post to come soon – once I’m able to get through everything. To round out the year, I’m putting a 3 part blog post together taking you through outfit inspiration for the remaining holiday parties on your list, family time during the holidays, and a NYE look!

First up, let’s get into those holiday parties you are prepping for.  Anything with sparkle, a satiny finish, or a velvety feel could fit the bit (but warning, you probably want to stay away from all three at the same time).  Also, I tend to look for things in a few color palettes – black, white, gold, or a dark rouge.  For the look below, I pulled out a simple satiny slip dress and paired it with sexy stilettos and a classic wine hued wrap coat to create a festive fit.  Although I chose pumps here, I believe this look could also look great with a simple heeled sandal – I definitely don’t adhere to any rules about open toes (soft shrug). For an evening look, I think open toes and sleeveless dresses are appropriate year round.  You just have to know how to pair them up! Get into the details of this quick and easy look below and get this dress currently 50% off.  Make sure you come back to check out my next post for a relaxed Christmas day look!
